I am a comparative-historical sociologist and research associate at Princeton University. My research interests include comparative-historical sociology, historical capitalism, contemporary and historical processes of financialization, global inequality, global social change, social and political movements (e.g. nationalist movements, labor unrest, social revolts, revolutions and warfare) in world history. I received the 2015 Mellon Fellowship on “Empires: Domination, Collaboration and Resistance” Research Community at Princeton Institute for International and Regional Studies. Currently, I am also working as an assistant research scientist at the Arrighi Center for Global Studies, Johns Hopkins University.
