I am a comparative-historical sociologist and research associate at Princeton Institute for International and Regional Studies, Princeton University and an assistant research scientist at the Arrighi Center for Global Studies, Johns Hopkins University. My research interests include comparative-historical sociology, historical capitalism, contemporary and historical processes of financialization, global inequality, global social change, social and political movements (e.g. nationalist movements, labor unrest, social revolts, revolutions and warfare) in world history.
